An incredible day safari in Arusha National Park, breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Hosting such lovely guests from Golden Hour Tiny House made the experience even more special and truly unforgettable.
If you’re planning to visit the Serengeti, Arusha National Park may not be essential and can be skipped to save both time and money. That said, we visited while waiting for other members of our group to arrive by flight, and it turned out to be a pleasant way to pass the time. The walking safari was the highlight for me. It lasts around an hour and is led by an armed ranger. If you’re lucky, the ranger is knowledgeable and shares interesting facts, while also helping with some nice photo opportunities. We saw plenty of giraffes and flamingos, which was enjoyable. Overall, it’s a nice experience, but there’s nothing particularly distinctive that sets it apart from other large national parks. A good option if you have spare time in Arusha, but not a must-see if your itinerary already includes bigger parks.
