Safari soles provided an excellent experience for my wife and I. We booked a 4 day private safari and had the most amazing time. The entire process was handled perfectly. They responded to my inquiry with a quote almost immediately and then were very fast when I had small requests to tweak the itinerary and accommodations. They recommended a night safari and it was absolutely worth it to get to see lions hunting and various nocturnal animals. The best part of safari soles was our guide, though. You spend long days with your guide, so it is imperative to have one that you can converse with well and acts in an appropriate manner. Our guide Thomas, was an outstanding person. He got us to see every animal we were hoping to, was a wonderful conversationalist, drove with caution (which is a rarity among safari guides), stopped to pick up litter from a particularly beautiful area, shared our lunch leftovers with some hungry Maasai kids, stopped to help other Safari guides having issues with their jeeps, and could identify animal immediately. Thomas really made the trip unforgettable for us. Safari soles made everything very easy for us. I highly recommend booking with them and intend to come back in the future as I didn’t want our experience to end. Ask to have Thomas as your guide!

On top of that, Mandela has great emergency handling skills, drives safely and steadily, and is highly skilled at operating the vehicle, creating a secure and comfortable safari environment where guest safety always comes first. This journey left us feeling incredibly joyful and enriched! A huge thank you to Safari Soles for curating such a seamless and magical adventure—we couldn’t have asked for more. Through his stories, we were able to truly experience the beauty and soul of Tanzania. Baraka, our driver, made us feel safe at all times with his excellent driving skills, always kind, helpful and fun. We’ve done other tours in Tanzania, but never felt as safe as we did with him, truly cautious and highly skilled. Every single day the 4x4 was spotless, fully stocked with fresh water, soft drinks, juices, wine and cold beer in the fridge! They always managed to find the perfect spot for a magical picnic in the middle of nature, a moment we will never forget.
