We had a wonderful and adventurous trip. Everything was beautifully organized, and the support was excellent (guide Tuka, drivers, cook, horseman). It's a shame the distances are so great between the special places to visit; the bad roads are part of the story, but sometimes also presented serious challenges that were always resolved beautifully (flat tire, broken truck drivetrain, broken jeep suspension, etc.). It sounds like a lot, but once you see the roads, you know enough, and it was very manageable. We saw a wonderful cultural show at the University Library, which actually fits better at the end of the trip. Very approachable management with great care for the customer! Thanks for everything and best of luck!! Danny and Marijke from Belgium.

We (five people) had a fantastic one-week trip put together by Suzan (Nomads Tours), and Tulga was our tour guide. He speaks excellent German, looked after us excellently, and we had a fantastic time. Both drivers were fantastic and guided us perfectly through the wilderness. We had high expectations, which were even exceeded. Hopefully, we can still visit the north and the Gobi with Nomads. Thank you very much!

If you want to visit Mongolia, begin by contacting Nomads. They can provide you with a group or individual tour designed for your time-frame and comfort level. I have traveled 8 times with Nomads to various regions of Mongolia, usually by horseback with local horsemen and guides, and have always been delighted with the accomodations (usually tents, with full kitchen truck support), food, security, and comfort. If your time is limited, or you don't enjoy camping or horseback riding, Nomads can still design a great experience of the city and the countryside in a land like no other.

We just completed an 11 day tour in Mongolia that was booked through our tour company in the US: Alexander and Roberts, who in turn, partnered with Nomads tours. Our guide was fabulous, so knowledgeable and accomodating and taking us to additional sights not on our itinerary. Our drivers couldn't have taken better care of us and while our accommodations at the Sand Dunes were less than we expected (but the best around) we were even provided our private chef who made us unbelievable meals from his truck for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All other accommodations were wonderful. It was a private tour for the 4 of us and 2 of the 4 are vegetarian. Every meal accommodated them and exceeded our expectations. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you! PM
