Guys, pls educate yourselves, this is unethical!!! Turtles here are not brought in sick, they literally pay fishermen to capture and bring them here, turtles are not social beings and are not made to be touched or hand fed. Don’t do this!! You can barely find turtles in the ocean around Zanzibar anymore because of places like this! JUST DONT

Completely unethical and disgusting. The turtles are captive and kept in a small pond. The workers gave no instruction and threw food to the turtles before telling us to swim with them. I got bit by one after being in the water for less than a minute and was given mouthwash to wash out the wound. Please avoid this place at all costs.

A very beautiful lagoon with sea turtles. The water is somewhat murky at times, which is to be expected with such a large number of turtles in one place. Swimming and taking photos with the turtles is truly an unforgettable experience. The site also includes a small zoo where you can see monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and other animals. The conditions for them are not entirely ideal as I would imagine, but the visit still allows for a unique close-up encounter with the animals. Overall, a very interesting place that is definitely worth recommending.

We arrived in the morning, but the water was cloudy and grey, it was low tide and there were too many people. So we decided to come back an hour before they closed, the water was blue, high tide and there were less people. It was a beautiful experience! The turtles are massive! A lot bigger than those at the Salaam Cave. We also had something to eat at the restaurant which was also lovely, thank you. Only thing that I would advise is that you listen to the guide and remain calm. Also rather purchase the tickets at the aquarium than online as this was more expensive.
