This advanced rifle course is designed for shooters who have completed a basic program and want to refine their skills further. Training focuses on accurate sight zeroing rapid sight acquisition and maintaining shot groups within eight inches from one hundred fifty feet. Students will fire either 223 or 5.56 NATO ammunition while reinforcing safe gun handling loading and unloading procedures and consistent marksmanship fundamentals. Instruction also covers trajectory scope adjustment shooting positions breath control professional trigger squeeze and proper follow through to improve accuracy and confidence.
The course also includes practical knowledge of California laws related to long gun transportation cleaning reassembly and storage. Students learn how to identify causes of malfunctions and safely clear jams using proven drills. If you own a rifle you are encouraged to bring it to the course. Range fees and ammunition are paid separately by students and valid photo identification is required for participation. Visitors to the United States are welcome to take part in this firearms training experience.
