Utah/Florida Concealed Firearms Permit

This course is designed for individuals seeking to obtain a Utah or Florida CCW permit and requires completion of the NRA Basic Pistol Certificate. The certificate course is eight hours long and covers essential topics including current laws on carrying a concealed firearm. Participants will learn where firearms may be legally carried and where they are prohibited. The course also provides instruction on the judicious use of deadly force and legal responsibilities, ensuring students understand the limits and requirements of self defense.

The program includes a live fire portion where students practice marksmanship and are evaluated on their shooting skills. Additional time is provided for hands-on training to ensure proficiency. Range fees and ammunition are the responsibility of the student, typically ranging from twenty to forty dollars. A valid photo identification is required for all participants. This comprehensive training ensures that students are prepared both legally and practically to carry a concealed firearm safely and responsibly. Completion of this course is mandatory to meet the CCW permit requirements for Utah or Florida.
