A visit to Petra is overwhelming ,amazing, magical, and unforgettable experience, with the stunning rock-cut architecture and dramatic landscapes, suggesting visiting early or during quieter seasons to avoid peak crowds and heat, and considering a night visit for a unique candlelit atmosphere.

BEST ADVICE WE GOT If you want to do the full hike to the Monastery without spending 8 hours walking, a great tip is to take a taxi to the back entrance near Little Petra. From there, hop on the big jeep that takes you to the start of the trail. This way, you avoid doing the hike back and forth. Entrance is free with the Jordan Pass

It was ok, too much waiting on the border point, but the tour was ok

It's always always interesting to see one of the 7 wonders , I really enjoyed visiting the place and see it by my own eyes , I can't say anymore words because other reviewers talked about everything!!!

I’m not sure if a two-day visit to Petra will be enough to cover all points of interest there. If you like hiking, there are many hiking routes to take and you definitely need more time. Be sure to take your time there and enjoy the scenery.

We went there on a cold winter morning with 2 young kids aged 9 and 7. We were worried if we would be able to walk and see the Treasury. The walk at Siq and to the monastery and further on to the Mausoleum was very doable. The kids and us had a lot of fun and it was an amazing experience. If visiting Jordan, this is a must visit.
