I experienced the pyramids a bit differently than most people, I wasn’t exactly doing the Dora-the-Explorer thing 😅 but it was still a wonderful (short) visit with my family. We initially had a reservation at Khufu’s restaurant (which I highly recommend

The pyramids are great, they look beautiful, and much large in real life. if only it was easier to access them, and infrastructure around them was more developed, it would be just perfect. Be careful of the scams happening around. Book a hotel that has pyramid view. They are not expensive and give a great view of pyramids.

If you’re sitting in Sharm El Sheikh wondering if the flight to Cairo is worth it—stop hesitating and book this now. This wasn't just a private tour; it was a full-blown VIP experience from the moment we touched down. Our guide, Hassan Ghanem, was ABSOLUTELLY FANTASTIV. He’s an Egyptologist by profession and his dedication is on another level. Instead of just rattling off dry facts, he made the history feel alive. He was incredibly flexible, shifting the schedule to make sure we stayed ahead of the crowds, making our day truly extraordinary. Then there’s our driver, Ahmed, who was flawless. Cairo traffic is no joke, but Ahmed was a pro—always punctual, kind, and waiting for us with a smile. Packing the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temlle and the GEM into one day is not an easy challenge, but the flow was seamless. We felt taken care of every single second. If you want to see the best of Egypt without the stress, ask for Hassan and Ahmed. A truly flawless day!

Fast sightseeing but awesome view. We purchased ticket in Bus from our trip Guide to horse ride to hill but I am sure only half was paid to Horse carriage. They want a Big Tip about 100 dollars. Were rude and would not take any horse ride because Horse were exhausted and tired. Its a waste of money because you can go by yourself and take Free photos. I won't recommend any ride, it's a Scam. Be careful.

I visited the Pyramids of Giza recently during a long trip to Egypt that started in Cairo and ended in Aswan. I have traveled extensively around the world and seen many extraordinary places, but the pyramids are without a doubt one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. They are monumental, timeless structures, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Standing in front of them is overwhelming and it is hard to understand how such immense works were built thousands of years ago. The trip to Egypt is absolutely worth it for the pyramids alone. I explored the entire archaeological area with a guide, which I strongly recommend. Having a guide makes a huge difference, as it helps you truly understand the site and also makes the visit much smoother and more enjoyable. The Sphinx, on the other hand, impressed me less than the pyramids. It is iconic and interesting, but compared to the sheer impact of the pyramids it feels secondary. I also entered the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three. It is an experience I recommend only to those who are not claustrophobic. It is physically demanding and not something to take lightly, but it is definitely memorable. A unique place in the world, absolutely worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

the last standing wonder of the ancient world. it was so amazing in person and much cooler than i thought. lots of hagglers but just ignore them. so much to see. i spent 3hrs here which is enough. free roaming and you can get to spots where there are no or very few people. really amazing place. you can ride a camel which they charge 1k but you can negotiate to nearly half that. don’t let them intimate you. HOW TO GET TICKETS-tickets were easily attainable by a self service kiosk for 700 egp or ~15 usd as a foreigner adult. they take visa and mastercard. quick and easy HOW TO GET AROUND- they have free shuttle buses that take you to many stops along the way including the main pyramids and the sphinx.
