It was a really great pleasure to cooperate with Explore - a special thanks to Pierre for all support&advises! We've booked VSS+ Hilux plus hardshell tent&awning for 23 days self-drive - the car was in very good condition, well maintained and very good configured (camping stuff, canopy set, recovery stuff etc.) - I've a lot of opportunities to compare vs other car rentals during travel. Just take in the mind that taking the budget version - equipment won't be a brand new. You can check everything before taking the car - so, be fair later on with any complains. Car and stuff&equipment - everything was very clean. All procedures with car - taking and returning, verification of the car&stuff condition - very smooth and w/o any problems. Transfer from/to airport/hotel - perfectly managed. A nice bonus from the Explore Team - especially when you visit Namibia for the first time - map, Etosha guide, some manuals tips&tricks about travelling in Namibia, general 4x4 maintenance and other advices, addresses, important phone numbers etc. really appreciated! Another important topic - mainly for the people from Europe - you can pay with a bank transfer on their European account in EUR. I hope that we'll meet again in the next year!

We boooked our 14D13N self drive tour in Namibia through Explore Africa Travel and everything went smoothly throughout the trip. Helena was great and is quick in responding to our questions before we made our bookings. She was at the car rental company when we arrived and went through the itineraries with us. She also gave us a bottle of red wine for the trip. The road trip planned by the company is great as we could see most of the major attractions in Namibia. Accommodation and campsites were also good, especially the one in Swakopmund. They use Asco Car Hire for the vehicle, which I strongly recommend. Their vehicle is clean and new and the tires they used are very good. Would definitely recommend people planning a road trip in Namibia to use them.
