I can only highly recommend booking a trip with Detour Africa. They’re very fast in responding and very organized with any organisation pre-hand. I did the 6-day Garden Route Tour in SA and it was honestly such an amazing experience. True an meaningful memories were made. What made the tour so memorable and special was mainly our tour guide Rochelle. She made sure everyone felt included and welcomed during the whole tour. No matter what maybe an issue ar request was, she made sure it was taken care of. I went solo but never felt lonely. I’m very pleased and lolking forwad to book with them again. (Africa is such a beautiful continent!)

The advice and support from Detour was very pleasant and helpful. The transfer from the airport to the Kruger Park gate and to the camp, and back again, went smoothly, and I always felt safe. It was great that they took care of everything! The accommodation at Nambu Camp was fantastic. The two daily three-hour game drives were exciting and varied. Nambu Camp has an impressive view of a watering hole. On one occasion, there were nine elephants with their babies. The small size of the camp makes it very peaceful. The other international guests were very pleasant, and every evening we played a quiz guessing the nationality of the guests arriving the next day. Very amusing! The camp team was very nice, but not intrusive. The food, with its many snacks, was extremely delicious and of a high standard. We saw a great many animals. Only the leopard is still missing from my list of the Big Five! But that's a good reason to come back to South Africa. When I had to leave the Kruger Park gate, a certain sadness came over me because my stay was already over. I would book with Detour again anytime.

I booked a 3-day trip to Sossusvlei with Detour Africa this November and had an amazing experience. Everything was really well coordinated and punctual — the excursions were stunning, the accommodation was great, and the food was excellent quality. Mandy was incredibly helpful and quick to answer all my questions. I’m really happy I chose Detour Africa and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone planning a trip in Namibia!

Detour is amazing, we booked two trips with them, from Windhoek to Walvis bay and from Windhoek to Victoria falls, and both countries Namibia and Botswana are wonderful place to visit. However, what makes the experience remarkable was Detour attention. Elana was flexible, responsive and eager to help. She helped us to accommodate some additional tours that we wanted to do, what made this the best experience. I would highly recommend booking with them!
