Relax and rejuvenate at our wilderness spa, where the wood-fired sauna by the river offers the perfect retreat after a day of outdoor adventure. The sauna provides intense, purifying heat that helps release tension, cleanse the body through sweat, and soothe sore muscles, making it an ideal way to recover from physical activities. Guests can enhance the experience with a variety of sauna oils, which add pleasant aromas and provide additional therapeutic benefits. The ancient tradition of sauna bathing is not only relaxing but also promotes circulation, reduces stress, and supports overall wellness, making it an integral part of the wilderness spa experience.
Once you have enjoyed the deep warmth of the sauna, you can step into the crisp mountain river for a refreshing and invigorating dip. The contrast between the hot sauna and the cold river water stimulates circulation, revitalizes the body, and leaves you feeling fully energized. This combination of heat and cold is a timeless practice known to promote mental clarity, relaxation, and physical recovery. Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of nature, the wilderness spa provides a serene escape where you can reconnect with the outdoors, breathe in fresh mountain air, and fully immerse yourself in the restorative powers of both sauna and river bathing.

A wonderfully private location with staff who go above and beyond. Andy couldn't do enough for us. I couldn't have chosen a more special location to propose to my now fiancé. We will certainly be back. Highly recommend the electric bikes and picnic experience. We had the best time with them and the spread was amazing!

I had a wonderful a relaxing time on my stay. I loved the tranquility and even saw a die and her fawn while enjoying the hot tub! The cabin and garden are completely profit and screened off from view by trees and the shape of the valley, but at the same time I felt it was close enough to others that if help was needed it could be reached. As a women staying there on my own I felt completely safe. Alan was extremely kind and helpful.

We had an incredible stay at Doe’s Den. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and connect with nature. We enjoyed every experience - the views, the hot tub, the breakfast hamper and just sitting in silence while absorbing everything in. The deers and foxes even made an appearance which made the whole experience even more special. Andy is very welcoming, made sure we are well settled in and explained everything we need to know. The cabin itself is excellent - spotless and well looked after. Such a special place. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends and family.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Andy the host has everything perfectly planned out for the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. You are totally emersed in nature and the beauty of the mountains. The electric picnic bike ride in the forest followed by a lovely lunch and forest spa, was just magical and so much fun. The attention to detail provided in the breakfast basket each morning and the wood fired hot tub in the evening was just perfect. You feel like you are the only people there. We most definitely would give this 10 stars and recommend to anyone looking for a magical escape. We will be recommending to everyone.

Myself and my husband have just returned from staying in Does Den, if you are looking for a place to completely get away from it all this is the perfect spot. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and we were fortunate enough to spot a Fawn whilst we were relaxing outside our cabin. The cabin was beautiful, absolutely spotless and the most comfy bed I've slept in, it was so peaceful I had the best night's sleep I've had in ages. We also done the electric picnic and forest spa and I would highly recommend both, great experience cycling around the forest and the picnic we had afterwards in the gazebo was absolutely beautiful. The forest spa was so beautiful and secluded, the scenery was outstanding. The entire stay was so wonderful and we can't wait to go back. One of the absolute best parts of the stay was the service we received from Andy, an absolute gentleman who couldn't do enough for us, from setting up the hot tub so we could enjoy a relaxing soak to delivering the most beautiful breakfast the next morning. Nothing was too much trouble for him and everything was explained well to us. The whole experience was wonderful and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
