Karimalis Winery is an unforgettable experience and a true gem in Ikaria. The owners are amazing — Eleni cooks with so much love, and every dish is made completely from scratch with fresh, local ingredients. The service is warm and personal, and the setting is breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and sunset. The day we visited there was no meat on the menu, so it’s worth calling ahead to see what’s being served, but everything we had was excellent. Go for dinner so you can watch the sun go down — it’s a magical, heartfelt experience where you can truly feel the love that goes into everything.
