Full Day Climbing and Abseiling

Enjoy a full day of adventure with a climbing and abseiling experience designed for beginners and more experienced participants. The day typically begins with climbing at Burrington Combe, which offers a wide range of routes suitable for all abilities, including options for younger children and adults. After lunch, the group travels approximately eight miles to Split Rock near Wells for an abseiling session on a 25 metre vertical wall, providing a thrilling and challenging experience. For participants who may find the taller wall intimidating, gentler abseiling routes are available at Burrington Combe. Climbing at Split Rock is also possible, though the selection of routes is smaller and less suitable for children. This combination of venues ensures that each participant can enjoy a full day of adventure at a level appropriate for their experience and confidence.

The session runs from 10 am to approximately 5 pm with a lunch break included and is suitable for youth groups from eight years old, with dedicated family sessions for younger children. Group sizes are usually limited to nine participants per instructor, though additional instructors can accommodate larger groups. Professional instructors provide guidance, equipment, and safety supervision throughout the day to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
