Rock Challenge Tour

The Rock Challenge Tour offers a one of a kind adventure unlike anything else in the Hocking Hills or across Ohio. Designed for ages six and up, this approximately two hour and thirty minute experience immerses you in a natural obstacle course made entirely of incredible sandstone rock features. You will explore rock halls, squeezes, tunnels, narrows, ascents, descents, and scrambles while moving through a scenic forest setting. With at least ten different challenges included, this tour delivers excitement, discovery, and fun for families, friends, and adventurous groups.

This experience focuses on bouldering style movement and ground based challenges, using stationary ropes and webbing for support where needed, without harnessed climbing or rappelling. All challenges are optional, with walk around routes available for guests who feel uncomfortable at any point. Led by knowledgeable guides, the tour also includes brief insights into local plants and trees as you move along the trails. Operating year round depending on weather, the Rock Challenge Tour combines adventure, nature, and confidence building in a safe and supportive environment.
