Embark on a 10-day journey into Bhutan combining cultural experiences with a six-day trek through pristine mountain landscapes and crystal-clear lakes. This adventure takes you past some of the world’s highest peaks including Everest, Jomolhari, Masang Gang, Jichu Drake, and Gangchen Ta, while offering close encounters with traditional Bhutanese village life and semi-nomadic yak herders. Along the trail, you will witness the stunning Himalayan range, peaceful monasteries, and beautiful valleys that make Bhutan unique. Day six is dedicated to exploring mountain lakes where trout fishing is available with prior arrangement. This trek is best undertaken between March and June or September and November when the weather is favorable and the views are at their most spectacular.
The tour includes visa processing, sustainable development fees, accommodation at certified 3-star hotels, full-service camping with porters and ponies, all meals and snacks, domestic flights, and ground transportation with airport transfers. Experienced English-speaking licensed guides accompany you throughout the journey, ensuring both safety and an authentic experience. Participants should pack light and bring appropriate trekking gear including hiking boots, layered clothing, rain jackets, and a personal first aid kit. The trek reaches altitudes up to 4300 meters, so physical fitness is essential and travelers should be prepared for possible effects of altitude.
