River Tube & Cliff Jumping

River Tubing at ACE offers a fun and comical way to experience the River Findhorn using inflatable tubes, similar to large inner tubes. Participants float down gentle rapids, go over small drops, and swim under waterfalls, with optional cliff jumping into deep pools. The activity is easily adaptable to each individual’s comfort level, making it suitable for beginners or those seeking a more adventurous experience. Equipped with a thick neoprene wetsuit and a river tube, adventurers explore the dark and mysterious waters of Randolphs Leap while enjoying stunning scenery. Along the way, participants navigate white water rapids, test balance and control, and pass some of Britain’s tallest trees. The course also includes sculpted gorge walls and small drops, adding excitement while remaining safe and accessible.

During the trip, participants negotiate features like the Cauldron, float over a drop of one and a half metres, and swim over and behind waterfalls into natural spa-like pools. River Tubing is ideal for low water conditions, making it a perfect summertime half-day adventure. If water levels are higher, ACE adapts the activity to a more suitable section of river or offers an alternative adventure to ensure safety and enjoyment.
