The tour was brilliant. Pick-ups were always on time & the wineries selected over the 2 days were excellent. The wine tastings were generous, the owners welcoming plus the commentary & detailed maps of each area provided us with a good understanding of the different expressions of the grape varieties & wine styles of Barolo, Barbaresco & Roero. Manualla was an exceptional host. She guided us through each winery experience with charm & ease. Her regional knowledge shared along the way continued to enhance our knowledge & enrich our experience. The restaurants were also excellent. We booked a full day tour visiting 3 different wineries. Our guide was Saverio and he was top notch. Being a local his whole life provided us with great history of the region, the grapes, the culture, and of course the wines. On top of it all, he picked the best lunch spot we could have asked for!!! We can't wait to go back to expand our tasting to other vineyards, which of course we would be using Saverio and Alba tours again. Top notch service and day we will not forget.
The experience was incredible! We went to two small producers in the Lange region. Both were hospitable, welcoming, informative and of course, delicious wine. Our lunch between the two stops with show stopper views was also wonderful. I learned so much about the region and the wines. Don’t hesitate to book!
