The PADI Scuba Diver course is designed for anyone who wants to start their scuba journey but has limited time. This course is an intermediate step toward earning a full Open Water Diver certification and is ideal for those who plan to dive under the supervision of a professional guide. Participants will learn essential scuba skills on the first day, including how to use diving equipment safely, underwater navigation, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures. The second day consists of two open water dives where students will practice what they learned in a real marine environment. The course includes theory, which is completed online before arrival, allowing participants to focus on practical skills during the in-person sessions. No prior scuba experience is required, but participants should be at least ten years old, have adequate swimming skills, and be in good physical health.
During the course, participants will explore the stunning underwater world of Ponta Da Piedade, encountering vibrant corals, diverse marine life, and even the local intelligent octopus. This experience provides plenty of opportunities for photography and capturing memories of the unique marine environment. By the end of the course, participants will be qualified to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters, rent or purchase scuba equipment, and continue their dive training toward a full Open Water Diver certification or specialty courses. Safety is prioritized, and all divers will complete a medical form before starting.
