PADI Advance Open Water

This Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed for divers aged 12 and above who want to enhance their skills and gain confidence underwater. The course focuses on navigation, deep diving, and three specialty dives of your choice, providing a practical and enjoyable way to advance your experience. Participants will practice underwater techniques under the supervision of professional instructors, ensuring safety while exploring marine life. The dives take place in some of the most stunning areas around Lagos, including the Ponta Da Piedade reefs, allowing ample opportunities to observe vibrant fish, corals, and even intelligent octopus in their natural habitat. Each specialty dive completed can also count toward PADI® specialty certifications, giving you the chance to expand your qualifications while having fun.

The course includes five dives: a deep dive, a navigation dive, and three specialty dives, with a maximum depth of up to 30 meters depending on age. Participants will receive all necessary equipment such as diving suit, regulator, BCD, mask, fins, boots, manuals, and certification upon completion. Additional items like a flashlight and surface marker buoy are not included. Divers must have an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification and may need a review if they have not dived recently or have fewer than the required number of previous dives. The course spans two half-days and is suitable for individuals who can manage long periods of activity in the water. Swimming-wear and a towel are recommended, and divers should be prepared for a combination of skill practice, adventure, and unforgettable experiences exploring the underwater world of Lagos.
