Photography, like any skilled profession, requires both structured learning and consistent practice. At Washington Photo Safari, participants are introduced to the principles of camera operation, lens use, and composition through hands-on instruction, allowing them to apply techniques immediately while taking photographs. The program emphasizes versatility, training students to handle a wide range of photographic scenarios including nature, architecture, landscapes, portraits, sports, and events. Over a six-month period, participants attend twelve half-day safaris, either in-person or virtually, with guidance from experienced instructors led by Paris-trained E. David Luria. In addition to skill development, the course provides numerous resources and benefits for students.
