The river winds for nearly 20 miles through rock cliffs and farm country before emptying into Boone Lake, offering anglers a wide range of water types from gentle slack water to deep plunge pools. Brown and rainbow trout dominate the fishery, while bass inhabit the lower stretches and Boone Lake.
