This scenic float trip meets at the Wilson Boat Ramp and is designed for guests, with a small group size of up to six people and full accessibility. From March through October, you’ll float a 13-mile roadless stretch of the Snake River in a hard-sided McKenzie-style drift boat, offering a smooth and comfortable experience unlike standard rafting tours. With the Teton Range in full view throughout the journey, the boat’s ergonomic design, including backed swivel chairs and cup holders, allows guests to relax and fully enjoy the landscape while staying dry and secure on the water.
Each guest is provided with a comfortable seat, fishing-style PFD, binoculars, snacks, water, blankets, and rain gear. Wildlife viewing is a highlight of this trip, with almost guaranteed bald eagle sightings and frequent chances to see moose, elk, and occasionally even bears along the river corridor. Knowledgeable, year-round resident guides share their deep understanding of the Snake River and surrounding mountains throughout the float. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch or adult beverages, and guides will contact booked guests by phone the evening before the trip to confirm the meeting time and exact location.
