Cellars & Saloons Sunday Brunch Tour

Our experience begins at the Moerlein Lager House, where guests enjoy a flight of beers and a short guided tour of the historic brewpub. Following this introduction, a freshly prepared brunch is served, setting the stage for a day exploring Cincinnati’s rich brewing history. From there, we catch a streetcar to the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, home to the largest collection of pre-Prohibition brewing structures in the country. As we walk the streets, we discover hidden relics of breweries and saloons that shaped the city’s beer culture, sharing stories of the workers, brewmasters, and everyday citizens who made the Queen City thrive.

A highlight of the tour is the visit to the historic underground lagering cellars of the Park Brewery, open to visitors for the first time in many years and accessible only through this exclusive experience. After exploring the subterranean tunnels, we stop at the Lackman Bar, located on the site of a pre-Prohibition saloon, to enjoy a pint and local favorites on tap. The tour concludes with a streetcar ride back to the Moerlein Lager House, giving guests time to reflect on the history, architecture, and vibrant culture experienced throughout the day. This journey offers a unique combination of beer, history, and urban exploration.
