Take your scuba diving skills to the next level with My Deep Life and the internationally recognized SSI Advanced Adventurer program in Cancun, Cozumel, and Riviera Maya. This program is designed for divers who have completed their Open Water Diver course and wish to expand their underwater experience, explore new dive sites, and build confidence in a variety of diving specialties. You will enjoy five specialty dives including deep diving, underwater navigation, peak performance buoyancy, wreck diving, and fish identification, with the option of a bonus night dive if conditions permit. Additional specialties such as drift diving, digital photography, or search and recovery may also be available upon request, allowing you to tailor your learning to your interests. Small group training ensures personalized attention from certified SSI instructors while maximizing your dive time in some of the most stunning dive destinations in the Mexican Caribbean.
The program features fully digital learning, allowing you to complete theory at your own pace before arrival using the SSI e-learning platform. There is no classroom time, so you can focus entirely on practical dives and skill development. The course can be completed over two or three days depending on your schedule and availability, with flexible options for consecutive or split days. Dive sites include Cancun Underwater Museum, Cancun Marine Park reefs, and additional specialty sites in Riviera Maya or Cozumel. Upon completion, you will earn a globally recognized certification valid for life, providing the skills, confidence, and experience to enjoy advanced diving adventures in destinations around the world.

I was able to dive with Salty Endeavor in November 2025. This was my first expereice with diving in Cozumel. It was an amazing experience. I booked with Salty Endeavors based on recommendations from our local dive shop. I could not have been more pleased with the experience. Book my dives was very simple, and they were able to pick me up from the boat dock at the resort I was staying at (Secrets Aura). Travel time from pick to diving was roughly 15-20 minutes, so very quick trip to the dive sites. I travel with my own gear, so they were able to keep my gear for the week and everything was already setup as I prepared to dive each day. They provided a daily briefing about the location and dive parameters and then executed on those plans. DM's were knowledgeable and accomodating to the divers. Dive boats were small compared to boats I have been on in the Carribean, but allowed for smaller dive groups which I liked. Lots of fabulous stuff to see and do (marine life abounds, swim throughs, rays, sharks, puffers.
First time diving with Salty Endeavors, and I was quite pleased. I dived four two-tank days with them, and had a wonderful experience. Martin, my dive guide on three of the days, was excellent and very helpful, offering tips for decreasing my air consumption. Francisco, my dive guide on one of the days, was a lot of fun and also helpful with dive tips. The boats are small, and there is no toilet, so be prepared for that. But the boats are otherwise comfortable, providing cover against the brutal sun, and are easy to "backward roll" off into the water. Also, no need to climb out carrying your heavy tank and BCD; they assist you in removing your BCD in the water, making it easy to climb out. Overall a great experience, and I will happily choose them again.
We dove with Salty for 9 days. Every one of their crew, staff and guides were amazing. Always helpful getting gear together, great detail with the pre-dive talk and wonderful in all situations. After my third day I had a diving accident and they were extremely helpful with instructions on talking to DAN, which ER to go to and then helping me change up our plan since I could not dive anymore on the trip. My husband dive and Salty let me ride on the boat so that I could still enjoy the sun and water. Both Captians were amazing. Talked with me while the divers were down and always asking how I was feeling. The guides were wonderful. Very detailed and helpful. They always showed us amazing areas and pointed out exciting things to see. Each one had their own style and made the whole group feel comfortable and made sure everyone had a good time. The shop was so easy to communicate with and so helpful adjusting our schedule and made payment very easy. We will be diving with them in our future trips. Thank you all so much.
Best Diving Ever!! This was our second dive trip with Salty Endeavors and am so glad we dove with them. They have the best dive masters and captains that make multi-day diving so easy and relaxing. Thanks Captain Chespa for coming in on your day off and always keeping us safe. I honestly can't imagine diving with anyone else.
I researched many dive shops around Cozumel, but Salty Endeavors provided very competitive pricing along with very cheap rental price (everything minus computer was $20) when most places wanted to charge me $10-20 per piece of equipment. The boat was prompt in picking us up every day for our 8 dives. We explored Dalilah Reef, Santa Rosa wall/shallows, San Francisco Wall, Palancar garden and Yucab. Many thanks to Izi, Jose, Eduardo and our boat captain Elias for our safe and fun diving experience!
