This place is amazing! My husband and I are here for our honeymoon and we cannot say enough good things about this resort. From the rooms to the service to the food, everything has been excellent. We got the roof top terrace room. When checking in we were greeted with champagne and our room was decorated with a banner and a welcome fruit basket. The room is huge with more space than we know what to do with. It is the perfect amount of calm and lively. They have so many options for food, drinks, and daily activities to keep us busy. We have done most that are available and we are so impressed. Sergio and Gabriel are so nice and personable, we had so much fun painting cantaritos, making bracelets, and especially water aerobics (my personal favorite). We have another 5 days here and I can’t wait to do so much more. We are already talking about coming back here next year to celebrate our anniversary.

My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit Excellence Playa Mujeres twice now—first for our honeymoon a few years back, and most recently to ring in the New Year. To be honest, we can't imagine spending New Year's Eve anywhere else. Both times have been absolutely fantastic; the team didn't skip a beat. The resort is stunning and impeccably maintained, but what truly makes this place a gem is its incredible team and vibrant atmosphere. Entertainment 🎤 The entertainment is top-notch, with a variety of high-energy performances each night. We were absolutely blown away by the Freddie Mercury tribute act. The resemblance was uncanny, and his energy was simply amazing—he had the whole place rocking! It’s shows like that that make the evenings so memorable. The Heart of the Resort: The Staff ❤️ As wonderful as the resort itself is, the staff are the real reason we started planning our next trip back before we even left. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and are the key to the entire experience. We spent most of our days at the Excellence Club pool, and our waiter, Floricel, was a true standout. He was wildly attentive and responsive, ensuring our glasses were never empty. He didn't just take orders; he helped us discover the most incredible new drinks and his fun, engaging personality truly made our days by the pool so much more enjoyable. Our concierges, Edgar and David, were unbelievably helpful. From the moment we arrived, they helped us navigate our time at the resort, making reservations and ensuring every detail was handled. Having a dedicated concierge team like them is so important; they remove all the stress of planning and make you feel completely prioritized and cared for throughout your entire stay. We truly felt like their only guests. We also have to give a shout-out to Cesar at the lobby bar. We were so impressed that he recognized us from our previous trip, and of course, we remembered him! He is exceptionally attentive, and man, that guy is fast. He’s a true professional. Last but certainly not least, a special mention goes to the man running the pizza oven at the main pool. He deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his craft. He was just killing it all day, every day, serving up perfect pizzas with a smile. It's this level of service and genuine warmth from the staff that makes Excellence Playa Mujeres feel like a home away from home. We came back home so refreshed and can't wait to return.

My husband and I went to Excellence Playa Mujeres for our honeymoon, and we had the best time! Yeudiel and Roman down at the beach provided us with such great service the entire time, even when it started to rain. Yeudiel had a such sweet surprises for us, and Suly did an awesome drawing with sand before we had to leave. All of the food we had was fantastic, and Yobany at the Lobster House was great! We upgraded to the club level and it was definitely worth it. We also had an amazing time at the spa, and it was a great way to recover from our wedding. I hope we can come back some day because it was an unforgettable experience!

Could not say enough great things about our stay for my 60th birthday Girls Trip Extravaganza! The swim up room was spotless and amazingly stocked with top shelf alcohol and sweet treats. The food was far above average and served with style but the private cabana and being hosted Josue was the icing on the cake! Josue ensured a day filled with unique cocktails, such as the coconut monkey, savory nachos with his attention to all details luxurious.

This is our second time at Excellence Resort and in the Excellence Club and we had a wonderful time. The beach concierge Josue couldn’t have been more kind or helpful and our wonderful waiter Emiliano kept us well fed and with a constant drink. Everyone was incredibly welcoming! The Magna is delicious and our waitress both times we visited was Griselda and her impeccable high end service with a smile made our visit memorable. The Burlesque show was so fun the main performer was an absolute legend, she was so fun and gorgeous and Alexis was a star 🌟 We cannot wait to come back and have already booked for next year! highly recommend
