Scuba diving or snorkeling. Isla del Caño is part of the many attractive places in Osa's Corcovado National Park. Half day tours with equipment can be booked every day. A plus if you do it during the whale season. Corcovado experience will be incomplete without this sea adventure.

I recently went scuba diving at Caño Island and had a great time. Only gave 4 stars because visibility was lacking a bit but we saw lots of cool wildlife, colorful coral, etc, and I really enjoyed my time!

There's no place like Cano! This is the magical trip of a lifetime. The best place to stay in the area is The Jaguar's Jungle Lodge. From there you can literally SEE the island from your room! Their trips are great because they are small groups of people as opposed to the groups of 15+ people all the other boats had. Highly recommended.

Super excursion snorkeling at Cano island. We tried 3 different spots and we saw a ton! We could even hear the whales. On the way to the island and back we saw whales breaching and also some dolphins. On the way back the dolphins were racing with our boat and jumping around. They were so close we could almost touch them. It was a very unique experience! Our tour company was Bahia aventuras, I would definitely recommend them!

Cano Island is really an amazing place to visit and to dive. Everything is beautiful: the forest, the beach, the ocean. We can see many species of animals (especially hermit crabs and fishes) and the environment is protected. There are many dive sites close to the island and they all are great.
