Had a great time diving with Blue Water Diving today for the boat diver specialty. Eileen was great, and it was fantastic seeing them bringing on a bunch of the next generation dive masters too! Equipment was all good quality. Communication with Kate was always prompt and helpful prior to my visit too. Would definitely recommend and use again if I’m ever back in the area! ❤️

I recently completed my Divemaster internship with Blue Water Diving in Gran Canaria, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire team — from the owners to the instructors — were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The training was thorough and hands-on, and I always felt supported and encouraged as I grew my skills and confidence in the water. Beyond the learning, the atmosphere was fun, positive, and welcoming. I met amazing people along the way, and every day felt like a new adventure both underwater and at the dive center. If you’re considering doing your Divemaster or any diving course in Gran Canaria, I can’t recommend Blue Water Diving highly enough. They made the whole experience unforgettable, and I’m truly grateful for the time I spent with them.

Safe. Professional. Friendly. Certified diver. About 50 dives. I had 6 dives over 3 days. The dives were varied and interesting. I did my first 'drift dive'. I had a little trouble when I surfaced from one dive and the team quickly sorted me out. Thoroughly recommend Kate's team.

We loved diving with Blue Water Diving last month. Our dive guide Eileen was very engaging and encouraged her team to help and learn new skills. The boat dives were well planned and the equipment provided was great. We did a wreck dive first and a reef dive later which was more interesting and relaxed. Eileen looked under every rock and made sure to point out all the different creatures to everyone. We saw big schools of fish, starfish, octopus, trumpet fish, moray eels, stingray and even a nudibranch.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of completing our Advanced Open Water Diver course and Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) certification with Blue Water Diving last week, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, everything went perfectly smoothly. Our instructor, Matilde, was truly outstanding – professional, deeply knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind. She guided us with confidence and care through every step of the course, making each dive both fun and educational. She took the time to walk us through every detail with clarity and patience, which made a big impact on our understanding and confidence as divers. We also had the pleasure of meeting Eileen, the senior instructor, who was equally professional, warm, and thorough in her explanations. The entire team at Blue Water Diving was fantastic – including the friendly and enthusiastic PADI Divemasters in training, who were always there to help and encourage us (and take the best underwater pictures!). A special thank you to the owner, Kate, who was kind, polite, and highly professional throughout – a true testament to the spirit of the center. The diving itself was spectacular – we explored stunning dive sites and encountered angel sharks, eels, stingrays, barracudas, trumpetfishes, and enjoyed an absolutely breathtaking wreck dive, which was definitely one of the best dives we have ever done! We were especially grateful for the team’s patience and support, whether it was helping with the equipment, giving tips, or getting in and out of the boat with ease. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. Of course, diving requires a fair amount of emotional resilience, especially when it’s been a while since your last dive or you’re learning and still getting used to the gear and underwater environment. For example, on our very first dive, my husband lost one of his fins at sea – but one of the Divemasters in training quickly and calmly dove down to retrieve it. Throughout every moment like this, the team remained endlessly patient, supportive, and kind, constantly giving us helpful tips on how to improve our diving technique and feel more comfortable underwater. Their approach turned potential stress into reassurance and growth, and we’re incredibly grateful for that. Finally, our certifications were issued very quickly, which was a great added bonus and spoke to the team’s efficiency and professionalism. This was truly an incredible experience from beginning to end. If you’re thinking about diving in the area, whether you’re just starting out or building on your skills, we wholeheartedly recommend Blue Water Diving. You’ll be in the best hands with a team that is both highly skilled and genuinely passionate about what they do.
