Join us for a relaxing river float along the legendary Snake River. This scenic journey offers an opportunity to experience some of the most breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife in Jackson Hole. Moose and elk are frequently seen along the riverbanks while bald eagles soar overhead, often near active nests. Guests may also spot river otters, beavers, and a variety of birds as the float winds through pristine habitat. With the Teton Range providing a dramatic backdrop, the trip promises an unforgettable experience on the water. The float begins at the Stilson Parking Lot, also known as the Village Transit Center, with a short walk or drive to the Wilson Landing, just south of Grand Teton Park. After donning lifejackets and a brief safety talk, guests board the raft and are seated on the pontoons and cross tubes while the guide handles navigation using a center-mounted oar frame.

During the two-hour, thirteen-mile float, knowledgeable guides share insights about the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the river system. Travelers can enjoy views of the Teton Range, Snake River Range, Gros Ventre, and Hoback Ranges. Wildlife sightings are common, including moose, elk, deer, and bald eagles near their nests. The adventure concludes at Von Gontard’s Landing, approximately fifteen minutes south of Jackson. Guests are encouraged to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and optional sandals for comfort. Bottled water, all equipment, the guide, and the boat are included to ensure a safe and enjoyable float for everyone.
