Wow! Quick overnight trip to see the lights and already planning for longer trip next year! Very crowded but the city has done an excellent job accommodating a crowd. Stayed in Vilano Beach and took 2.5 mile Uber ($15 early evening and $28 late return). Easy peasy! Loved the shops and options for dining all within walking distance of lights. We didn't book a tour, just walked around. Wonderful experience for all ages.
Night of Lights in St. Augustine is truly a wonderful experience. The entire downtown transforms into a beautiful display of lights, and kids especially will love the festive atmosphere. The event is completely free, but do be prepared for challenging parking—several spots offer off-site parking, and it can get competitive, especially on weekends. If you’re planning to walk around, grab an ice cream or a warm coffee from one of the local shops and enjoy strolling through the lit-up streets. It’s a great way to take in the scenery while racking up some steps. Overall, a must-visit holiday experience!
Fun & Fabulous Experience! We had an absolutely fun and fabulous time at Nights of Lights in St. Augustine! It’s such a wonderful way to experience the holiday season with family and friends — and so affordable, too. The light displays throughout St. Augustine are truly spectacular, and our trolley driver/guide made the evening even more enjoyable with great narration and energy. There were so many beautiful photo opportunities, and the 3-D glasses added an extra layer of festive fun for everyone. Purchasing tickets online was simple and seamless, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this magical holiday outing! 🎄✨
