Great service the food was good but a bit pricey for a pub meal.
If they have pear tarts when you go, you must try one! We sat outside with my brother’s pup. Really enjoyed our visit.
I’ve never been let down by the yellow house before today. We had the carvery for the first time today. We are usually in later and order off the menu. The food was thrown at the plate and ended up as a big pile of roast mush on the plate, hard to tell one veg from another. The chef served food as I imagine food is served in prison. I felt I’d someone offended the man as he managed to angrily combine the potatoes, turnip and stuffing into one singularly pile of saltiness. The phrase “you eat with your eyes” was not in this man’s vocabulary today. Today was a complete waste of money and we couldn’t wait to get out of the place. Our plates were not cleaned as we usually would and it’s hard to see us coming back. The only good thing was the ice cream we had outside after the meal inside.
