The SSI Extended Range Nitrox course introduces you to diving with twin tanks to increase both your bottom time and overall safety. You will also learn how to use a stage cylinder with nitrox up to 50 percent to shorten decompression time. Throughout the course, you will develop the ability to plan and manage your dives effectively, ensuring safe execution and proper gas management in more advanced diving situations.
By the end of the program, you will be able to plan and carry out twin-tank dives to a depth of 40 meters with up to 15 minutes of accelerated decompression. This course can be taken on its own by divers looking to extend their dive time or begin making decompression dives, but it also serves as an essential step toward becoming an SSI Extended Range Trimix Diver.
