Visitors who have already completed a beginner program or those with some prior experience can join a follow-up sewing course designed to further develop their skills. This course offers a gentle and inspiring way to grow confidence while creating a new garment from the De Steek pattern collection.
During the program, participants can choose to work on a pair of trousers, a blouse, or a shirt, with patterns available for both women and men. Lessons take place in the creative environment of the Sewing Café, where professional designers guide learners step by step through the process.
Classes are conducted in both Dutch and English and can be started during any week that suits the participant’s schedule. This flexible structure allows learners to progress at their own pace while receiving continuous support and instruction from experienced fashion designers.
Participants may bring their own fabric or select materials provided in the studio, including organic fabrics with preferred styles and colors available in-store. Those bringing their own materials receive a supply list by email, and after booking, a personal code is provided to schedule remaining lessons at convenient times, ensuring a fully flexible and personalized learning experience.
