1/2 Hour Trail Ride

Experience a thirty minute horseback ride at Autumn Breeze Stables located at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia. Riders will travel along pre civil war roads and forested trails with gentle up and downhill sections and stream crossings. The ride offers magnificent mountaintop views of the Eastern Continental Divide from an elevation of four thousand eight hundred forty eight feet. Guests may spot wildlife including deer, black bears, turkeys, owls, and eagles while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the forest. The trails are designed to take riders off the beaten path, providing a true mountain riding experience through rolling hills and scenic terrain. The horses are well trained and suitable for both beginner and advanced riders, ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure for all participants.

All riders receive a pre riding orientation or private lesson before the ride covering safety, basic horse handling, mounting and dismounting, and what to expect on the trail. The small group setting allows for personalized attention from the guide. Guests are advised to wear closed shoes and bring any necessary medications, cameras, drinks, or snacks.
