Craft & Sewing Café Offers Flexible Independent Workspace for Makers

At our Craft and Sewing Café, visitors have the option to work independently by renting a table equipped with all necessary machines and tools. This setup allows guests to focus fully on their own creative projects without instructor guidance, offering a more affordable alternative to supported sessions.

The café operates five days a week and provides flexible hours designed to fit different schedules. Sewing machines available on-site are Janome models, typically the 230 DC digital hobby machine, while sergers are supplied by Brother. The space is designed to accommodate both complete beginners and advanced makers alike.

From January, all workshops, courses, and lessons will be relocated to the Amsterdam West location at Van der Hoopstraat. The new venue is intended to provide a comfortable and inspiring environment for all participants, supporting a wide range of creative activities.

If materials are forgotten, many essentials are available for purchase in the store. Guests are requested to notify the café at least one day in advance if plans change to avoid losing their booking. Extended stays are possible when space permits, with additional charges for extra hours. The team communicates in both Dutch and English to ensure a welcoming experience for everyone.
