Excellent bike tour - our guide Rosie was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The bikes were excellent quality. Stopped for a scrumptious breakfast at the most picturesque hotel. You MUST try their homemade lemon curd and orange cake which was all included in the tour. Would highly recommend.

Very good bike store with great service and fair prices for really good bikes. I rented there for the second time and was again fully satisfied with the whole process, I even could take the bike already in the evening, so I could start my ride really early the next morning. The bike took me up to Pico do Areeiro and it was amazing. Helmet, lock, saddle bag with mini pump, repair kit and lights where included of course. Next time I will go there again. Thank you!

Dream Ride from Funchal to Pico do Arieiro and Back! Thinking about doing this ride? My wife and I (an active couple) asked HappyBikes for some tips, and it turned out to be one of the best days we had on Madeira! We received a GPX file from them (you can open it, for example, in the free mapy.cz app). The ride to the top took us about 2.5 hours, and we had plenty of time to hike the accessible part of the PR1 trail. The return ride downhill took roughly 1 hour. There are lots of restaurants and cafés along the way where you can take a break. We mostly used the “Tour” and “Sport” modes, and the battery (and our legs!) handled it just fine :) If it’s a sunny day—don’t waste it. This ride is a must! Also, the prices were very reasonable :)

Rented a Canyon Endurace CF for a week in Jardim do Mar. Couldn't ask for a better conditioned bike, road like it was brand new. Everyone was so lovely and easy to deal with. I will rent from them again when I am back and would recommend to everyone I know coming to the island. Fantastic price service and bikes. 10/10
