The tour features an impressive selection of 15 food and drink tastings that highlight the island’s finest traditional flavors. You’ll enjoy homemade local pastries, the famous Madeira honey cake, delicious local fish such as Espada, and succulent grilled tuna. There’s also a sample of “espetada” (beef on the skewer), homemade chocolate, and freshly baked bread. Visit the local farmers market to taste exotic fruits, and sip on refreshing herbal tea or coffee, local beer, quality Portuguese wines, Madeira wine, and the traditional drink “Poncha.”
