This two day river adventure offers 24.5 miles of paddling and two nights of camping, beginning and ending at Back Run Creek campground. Guests arrive the afternoon or evening before the trip to set up camp and prepare for the river journey. On the first day, participants are picked up at nine AM and shuttled to Springwood for an eleven mile paddle to Arcadia campground. This section of the river features numerous class I and II rapids and offers scenic mountain views along the way. Most groups complete the first day paddle by three to four PM, where they set up camp for the night. Guests must bring all their camping gear for the overnight stay. The pricing includes boat rental, paddles, life jackets, safety orientation, river maps, dry bags, seven gallon water jugs, access to private camping land, and all required shuttles.
On the second day, participants launch at their leisure and paddle nine and a half miles back to Back Run Creek campground, completing the trip in three to four hours. The adventure ends at the outpost where cars are parked, making it convenient for guests. An optional add on allows camping the final night at Back Run Creek for an additional fee. This trip is ideal for a minimum group of four people seeking a full weekend of paddling, camping, and scenic river experiences.
