My family and I had the best time here today. We enjoyed it more than Disney. We met Logan, who was working in the café, who is an awesome chap and a lovely person to talk to. Our captain, Tanner, was informative and found us some gators on our airboat ride. Everyone was welcoming. It was a nice place to relax and take in the wildlife of Florida. They have a butterfly garden and games to play for the kids. I highly recommend these guys if you want to experience an airboat ride.
My girlfriends and I were in town for the weekend to visit Universal studios and we decided to take a break between parks and do an airboat tour one of the days (My first time). We searched on Viator and this place came up with high reviews and a great price so we booked the last tour of the day just before sunset. It was risky apparently because the gators tend to slip into the water as the sun goes down (or so we were told - we are no experts!), but we saw lots of them still laying out there. Even if we didn't see any though it was a beautiful and peaceful 1 hour ride out on the lake with lots of wild life to see. Our captain was great and pulled up close to as many gators as possible. The entire facility is great. We could have easily spend a few hours haning out on the property. It's very peaceful and clean and everyone was friendly. They have food and drinks, a little shop to buy some souvenirs, a butterfly garden, and picnic areas...and much more I am not even thinking of, I'm sure. It took us about an hour to drive from the Seaworld/Universal Studios area on a Saturday afternoon, but it was an easy drive and I highly recommend visiting!!
Amazing experience with Captain Steve! The man was polite yet entertaining. He did not ramble the whole time but instead allowed us to enjoy hid world for the tour. He helped us see two big old alligators, which was exhilarating. The weather was perfect, the tide was smooth, and we were so satisfied. Amazing experience, which we would recommend to all. Thanks again Captain Steve. You rocked it man!
