Captain JAY small boat was a once in a lifetime adventure. Lived in Louisiana for 54 years and never did a an Air boat adventure till now. Captain Jay took out like we were family. He has lived in the area of the swamp all his life. He is a true Cajian. We left the dock and he took us to his gators in the swamp. Our first stop we could see a large 10 foot plus gator. Just like Captain Jay said he had a scare on his left ear area. Captain Jay call it to the boat where he interacted with the gator by throwing marsh mellows in the water for him to chase and soon two females joined in. Captain Jay laid down so he could tap them on the head and be very close. Later he put a hot dog on a stick and the big on nearly came on the boat. We left that spot and went to another one where he called a female gator to the boat who was less than three years old. That was cool and I never would have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. Thank you Captain Jay!
Had a great time! Even though I’m from New Orleans. I’ve never participated in tourist attractions. So glad I made the decision to go! Great staff, very informative, and nothing but peace and serenity out on the tour! Worth every penny and thank you for a lifetime of memories!
12/10 recommend doing this airboat tour! We had a blast, and probably would’ve done it again if we had more time on our trip. Our guide was super informative, and he made sure we were all comfortable and even took photos of us. We got to see many gators, birds, etc., and our guide did a great job showing us all the local flora and fauna, too. Book it! You won’t regret it.
