Did the 2-day mountain skills 1 course with Ambrose around Laragh and had a phenomenal time. Learned so much about the fundamental principles of navigation, and then got to put it into practice with feedback. I booked a day with Ambrose to complete a climb that I had struggled with in the past and to gain a bit of confidence for an upcoming trip to the Alps. Ambrose has a great ability to ensure that you bring out your natural abilities and approach tasks/challenges more confidently whilst delivering a comprehensive syllabus. He also brings great attention to detail. There is well thought out organisation in the prep before the course, even going as far as to arrange a video call for the group prior to meeting up. The follow up info and tips and advice after completion of the course is brilliant. Most importantly though, a genuinely lovely dude. I would highly recommend Ambrose for any training.
