With glaciated granite peaks stretching across the horizon, the North Cascades offer riding terrain that rivals their world-class alpine climbing. Strong parties can tackle certain objectives in a single day, taking advantage of efficient approaches and rewarding high-elevation terrain. Classic summits such as Sahale and Eldorado Peak provide big vertical gain and straightforward access, making them ideal for ambitious but time-tight missions.

Other goals in the range demand a slower, more committed pace. Longer linkups and rugged traverses—like crossing the remote Picket Range—can take nearly a week and require strong skills, fitness, and planning. Whether choosing quick-hit objectives or multi-day adventures, the North Cascades deliver exceptional terrain for those ready to explore deeper into the alpine.

I had a great climbing experience with Chris. He is thoroughly professional with safety being paramount at all times. When I am in the North Cascades again, I will definitely climb with Chris.

Had a fantastic time with Nate in Washington Pass last week! We climbed the Early Winter Spire, Cutthroat Peak, and Black Peak over the course of four days. Nate was super knowledgeable and taught me the ins and outs of following on short rope and cleaning gear, as well as lots of helpful tips and suggestions to help on my climbing journey. Highly recommend booking Nate through NCMG!

We had an amazing day of climbing on Liberty Bell Mountain with Chris B. and Kiera. Our PNW trip was filled with awesomeness but this day was definitely our groups favorite. If your looking for a guide service in this region give NCMG a go, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for an amazing day!

I had the best time climbing with both Adam and Jeff! Would highly recommend this guide service. My friend and I had an amazing time climbing at both Washington Pass and on the Goat Wall with them over the course of the summer. We will be back for more climbs with them next year!

A+ for my first guided trip. I’ve been backcountry skiing in WA for years, hopped in a guided group with my friends for some sled access skiing. The NCMG crew was very knowledgeable, forward about the route, super fun to ski with, and had our safety at the top of the list. Avy and weather forecast left a lot to be desired(that’s just skiing sometimes). We still had a riot! I would recommend NCMG, and plan on returning.
