My wife and I decided to check out the Cork & Cap for wine tasting and a platter. Brent introduced himself and led us through wines from some of the lesser known Central Otago vineyards. Superb wines and an excellent host. The platter of food we were presented was well balanced and well portioned. Where else can you visit so many vineyards without leaving your seat. Highly recommend you visit.

Visited this lovely, cozy spot with my sister and brother-in-law and had a great time (even as their sober driver). We spent a good amount of time here grazing and sipping, before eventually leaving with some incredible bottles of wine. The owner (Brent) was so friendly, with lots of interesting stories to share and we had such a great chat during the wine experience. You can tell when a business is built with heart, and Cork & Cap is one such place. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had the best afternoon here. We stumbled upon the cork and cap and were surprised that the Cromwell area has such a diverse wine culture. Brent helped us explore many different wine makers from the comfort of the sunny terrace. Alongside a delicious charcuterie board, we had our best wine tasting experience we’ve had across the 8 months we’ve been travelling across the country and that is mainly down to Brent’s hospitality. We left with a box of some new favourite wines and would 100% recommend anyone to spend an afternoon here. Thanks again Brent!

An absolute gem in Cromwell! The wine selection is outstanding, with a wide variety of tasting options that cater to every palate. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, making it easy to discover new favourites without breaking the bank. The space is beautifully set up – warm, cozy, and inviting – the perfect place to relax with a glass in hand. Brent is the heart of the place: incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. His hospitality makes the experience even more special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Central Otago!

🍷✨ Just had the most incredible experience at The Cork & Cap! If you believe that wine is more than just a drink, this is the place for you. Their dedication to quality is evident, with a stunning selection of Central Otago's finest wines. Each sip tells a story, and the staff are passionate about sharing their knowledge, making the experience even more special. Don’t miss out on their delicious locally sourced platter which paired perfectly with my wine choice, elevating the whole experience! If you’re looking for a place to unwind and indulge in the magic of wine, I highly recommend stopping by! Cheers to great wine and even better moments! 🥂❤️
