Really an amazing experience! 100% recommended. I was afraid of getting in the sea at night, although I can swim and feel very comfortable in the water. But we took the first trip which left before sunset and got to the swimming are with plenty of light. Cody, Corey and Mack made this experience absolutely wonderful and easy. They are super knowledgeable about all things mantas and really know what they are doing. They made us feel comfortable and safe and created a really fun environment. They provided wetsuit and masks and snorkels that are very clean and in great condition so we are absolutely comfortable wearing these. They explained everything very well before and during the trip. We saw four mantas and many other fish and sea animals. They got really close, so close one of them touched us. But these animals are clearly as giant as gentle. They did so many flips under us and under our table, where all the lights were, that was exhilarating. They only let you bring a GoPro but I recommend a handle versus one in a harness attached to your body, so you can angle and better capture the mantas. We will comeback and do it again with the family. Absolutely worth it!
Had an amazing time doing the Manta Ray trip! We did the later tour, at 9pm, and saw dozens of Mantas. Three or four "regulars" kept coming back. So well worth it with this crew! (Only constructive suggestion would be to mention to everyone to wear their masks before heading out on the Orca so that they can be worn both going and returning. Otherwise, the spray in the eyes was pretty intense for several of us.)
Alexis was our Captain, she rocks!!! Loved our boat since our son is in the US Navy!!! We did not see Mantas on our Tuesday night trip, which is VERY rare! It was still amazing!!! Shrimpees, little fishies, bigger fishies, and BRUCE did swim under us! That was cool finding out after, who Bruce really is!!! Lol!!! 🦈🦈🦈 Our female crew kicked BOOTY Tuesday night and then Alexis and Parker kicked it all over the place and knocked it OUT of the Ocean Sunday morning on our Captain Cook Snorkel trip!!! I highly recommend this company for ALL snorkeling adventures!! Laid back, relaxed vibes, chill and friendly, easy to spend the day with, very knowledgeable about all our ocean creature friends AND the island history!! I WILL BE BACK SOON friends, you brought IMMENSE JOY to my life!!! I could do these tours with you every day!!! I would LOVE to be out with you on my healthy days (Leukemia Survivor/Stem Cell Transplant in 2014) if we can find a way to make that work for our lives!! Jason & I absolutely adore all of you!! We took a spontaneous trip with Kona snorkel trips, we did the captain cook snorkeling tour and had ally and Ryan, we had a wonderful time with them! We enjoyed the trip overall, at the start of our trip, we were surprised with humpback whales and ally and Ryan made sure to stop the boats frequently for us to watch them and enjoy! Overall the trip was great and they are awesome! Highly recommend!
