It was a great experience very enjoyable. We choose the observation package. It was a very beautiful ride and also learned a lot along the way. The a/c was uncooperative on the way back but the staff did everything possible to make our ride enjoyable, even offered to move us to other seating. We were advised that boarding started 30 min before departure, although I would advise getting there around an hour before, even loading went very fast it would have given more an opportunity for seats.

We had a wonderful time along the Hiawassee River with the spectacular fall colors! We saw 2 bald eagles. Jason the conductor made our experience a thousand times better! He's amazing.

Wonderful train ride, beautiful fall foliage, water views and mountains. And our narrator was excellent and the entire crew was attentive and courteous. The accommodations were very comfortable. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Rick and June Smith
