Introductory Dive Experience: Your First Step Beneath the Surface

The Introductory Dive offers a simple and exciting way to experience SCUBA diving without committing to a full certification course. It is designed for beginners who want to discover what it feels like to breathe and move underwater in a safe, controlled environment under close instructor supervision.

The experience begins with a short video presentation and briefing session, where your instructor introduces essential diving equipment, basic safety procedures, and what to expect during your time in the water. This preparation helps build comfort and confidence before entering the lagoon.

You will then move into the shallow lagoon waters, where you can stand comfortably while learning to breathe underwater for the first time. Under direct guidance, you will practice four fundamental diving skills designed to help you feel relaxed, secure, and in control. Once these basics are mastered, you will progress to a guided dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres, exploring the underwater world in a calm and supported way.

On completion, participants receive a Certificate of Recognition, and the cost of the experience can be credited toward a full Open Water Course if you decide to continue your diving journey. The minimum age for participation is 10 years, and all guests must complete a medical questionnaire on the day. Certain medical conditions, including asthma, heart or lung issues, recent surgeries, or ear-related conditions, may require prior medical clearance. For safety, participants are also advised to avoid alcohol and specific medications before diving.
