I enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end. Nala and co-guide (sorry, I don't recall his name) were great; both were personable, knowledgable, and fantastic guides. I would definitely do the tour again.

We had an incredible time with Mini Boat Adventures! We did this tour with our 11-year-old daughter, who is a non-swimmer and was a bit nervous once we got closer to the reef. But thanks to the supportive and energetic crew — Nala and Jose — she felt safe, had a blast, and by the end, she said she’d definitely do it again! Nala and Jose were fun, knowledgeable, and very helpful, giving us a bit of a history lesson and sharing interesting facts about the surrounding islands of Puerto Rico. One of the best parts was when they had us get out of the boat, gear up with goggles, flippers, and snorkels, and explore the coral reef — it was amazing! Driving our own mini boat was a unique and exciting experience — the perfect mix of adventure, education, and family fun. Highly recommend this tour for families looking for something memorable to do in Puerto Rico!
10/10 a do-again experience. Kevin was awesome and made the afternoon. First a quick note on some of the reviews we read that gave these guys, 1- or 2- star reviews. There are a few with some Karens complaining about the ocean being too wavy and bumpy. These should be deleted by Google, as those are customers with a rating of 1/10. You are going into the ocean except bumps and waves. Back to this review. We were looking for snorkeling tours for a day trip in the afternoon. Most of the big-name tours were full. We came across this one and called to book, but there was no answer. However, they called us back 10 minutes later. +2 They booked us over the phone for that day. +1 After a very quick rundown on their boats, we hit the water to head out to the first cool spot. Kevin shared some hurricane and Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean) knowledge with us. +1 Next stop: Kevin put us in the right spot to see a bunch (five to seven) of sea turtles. +2 Next stop: snorkeling with a quick reef tour. +1 Second to last stop: at the beach, which puts most US beaches to shame. +1 Finally, a drive past the lighthouse, the large resorts, and sites on that end of the island. +1 Finally, back at the docks, Kevin's final moment of excellence was to say, "Leave all the equipment and trash on your boat; I'll clean it up." So we did and stopped into Salabos rooftop bar to grab a drink. +1 Great pictures and tons of fun to get to that 10 out of 10 for the day. Great afternoon, and highly recommend this. Unless you hate fun and are going to cry about the ocean being bumpy.
This was so much fun! I would say it was a little of a slow start, just making sure we had all the information needed to drive the boat, but then once you get out on the water it is a blast! My son, cousin, and I did this and had an amazing experience. At one point my son (a child) didn’t want to snorkel anymore, so Eric sat with him so I could finish snorkeling. Such a beautiful trip!
Don’t think twice about it and book this mini adventure!!! My husband and I did this a little more than 10 years ago- before kids. We just took both our kids and other family members and we all had a blast- just as I remembered it!! Mathew & Chris were awesome - they were patient with everyone handling the mini boats, explained everything thoroughly, and just let us have a great time. Experience is top tier- we even got to swim with a dolphin- highlight of our day! Book it and enjoy the amazing views, crystal clear waters, and mini adventure!
It was a beautiful experience, I had so much fun and joy. They took their time and was super friendly, professional people as well. Outstanding service. Mateo was an amazing instructor, Nani as well. Nani taught us how to snorkel and conquer my fear in the ocean. 10/10 .they went above and beyond.
