Hands down it was one of the most memorable experiences in life and many thanks to Juan for being such a great instructor. My husband and I - non swimmers took a coral reef snorkeling tour and Juan did a great job at educating us about the reef, helping us relax before the tour with some great tips. The whole tour in the water was about an hour and it magical. He was great at spotting - several fish including lobsters, nurse shark, eel, barracuda etc and he was very patient with us didn't feel rushed at all which is very important for nervous swimmers. Highly recommend this tour if you are in culebra, the reef was unbelievably beautiful. Ps - we booked last minute and it was just the two of us in the tour, there was a slight miscommunication and tour delayed for about 30 mins, but we still got the full tour.
Had a really bad experience. Booked our tour for 1 pm and planned traveled accordingly. Last minute owner called to change it to 11. We reached at 11 and saw 12-15 more people waiting for instructor and we felt that it wasn't worth our money as they were trying to just make it a bigger group and take everyone at once. So the reviews (small sized groups and personalized attention) they have received don't do justice to what service we received. Also, instructor came 20 mins late and that wasn't great. He never tought us anything on how to use fin or anything else. Also, we are just swimming alone throughout as we never swam in ocean for that long before. Booking a $145 (2 people) tour w/o the help of instructor was waste of our money. We could have explored ourself everything. Lastly when we asked instructor for snacks he said the owner didn't give anything. Very bad snorkeling experience. Avoid at all costs please!
You guys are great! We did the scuba try dive and Juan was amazing. Very patient and gave us clear instructions. We also rented snorkelling gears and went to Malone’s beach to see some great corals. (tip- go a little deeper towards the right side) Totally recommend.
