Step into the fascinating world of glassmaking with this hands-on bauble-making experience. Working directly on the hotfloor alongside skilled glassblowers, you will gather molten glass from the furnace, choose your preferred colors, and shape the glass using specialized tools. Each bauble is finished with a delicate glass loop and placed in an annealing kiln to cool slowly, ensuring it remains intact. Guests are advised to wear cool cotton clothing in layers and sturdy closed-toe footwear, as it can get warm in front of the furnace, with long hair tied back for safety.
This immersive experience is designed for those sixteen and older, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. After the session, your finished bauble can be collected the following working day, or for an additional charge, it can be posted to your home or work address. Please note, invoices must be arranged directly with the studio prior to booking through third-party platforms. This creative opportunity allows participants to leave with a unique handcrafted keepsake and gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry of glassmaking.
