This experience offers a magical introduction to the art of glassblowing, guided by master glassblowers in a professional studio setting. During the half-day session, each participant will create their own bauble and paperweight, along with the choice of a decorative frilly bowl, vase, or tumbler. A wide selection of vibrant glass colors allows you to personalize your creations and add a unique, individual touch. Upon arrival, participants will be briefed on health and safety guidelines before beginning their hands-on activity, carefully guided at each step by skilled glassblowers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Participants should wear cool, comfortable cotton clothing, with layers recommended as it can get warm near the furnace, and sturdy, closed-toe footwear is essential. Long hair must be tied back, and three-quarter length trousers are suitable while shorts above the knee are not permitted. It is advised to arrive ahead of time to allow for parking and preparation. Drinking water is available, but bringing a refillable bottle is recommended. This activity is designed for individuals aged sixteen and above.
