Myself and my mum enjoyed an amazing Brooklyn bus/walking tour this afternoon (Wednesday October 30th, 2025)- what a great trip it was! Shelley was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, giving so much information. She was very attentive and took the time to speak with and get to know each group of the tour! I loved that she had additional photos to show us what areas of Brooklyn looked like back in the day. Libni was an amazing bus driver, navigating the streets of New York/Brooklyn with ease- this definitely took the stress of driving downtown. A big thanks to both Shelley & Libni from the Canada/England ladies!
JR and Maria are the best!! I ended my 6-day trip to New York with the Big Bus Tour, and it was honestly the perfect way to wrap things up! The guide was amazing — super friendly, gave clear and interesting explanations about every spot, and made the whole ride so much fun. The driver was also excellent — smooth, safe, and professional. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for making my last day in New York such a memorable one!
We got the 48-hour pass, which included the night tour and the Statue of Liberty cruise. Overall, I think the value was good. The only downside is that during rush hours there’s a lot of traffic in NYC, so you end up wasting quite a bit of time on the bus. The routes could also be improved with more stops — in some areas, you don’t really get the same hop-on-hop-off experience I’ve had in other cities or countries. The night tour with a live guide was much better than the recorded audio. Special thanks to Rick and Ivan (our tour guide and driver) who made it such a beautiful experience for us! The street staff selling tickets, however, were not very friendly. As soon as they realized we had already purchased our tickets online, they ignored us. (I assume they work on commission.) They also didn’t seem to have enough information about the attractions, which stops lead to them, or the ticket options. I think Big Bus should definitely work on training those staff to provide accurate information and be more helpful with directions and ticket details.
Would give 5 stars but there was some confusion over the Go City 2 day pass. We were told by your online customer service team that it meant 48 hours but when we scanned our QR code we actually only got given 24 hours. However the overall experience was good. Decent stopping places. Did get smacked in the head by trees - which I guess can’t really be helped. But our favourite driver and an absolute star was Santana. She ran up and down the stairs at each stop filling us in with specific facts that only New Yorkers would know. She told us she would stop the bus at certain points (e.g. Brooklyn Bridge) for us to get the best photos. She even had people set up to wave at us when she beeped them (Ice cream Museum and the naked guitarist). Absolutely amazing. Thank you Santana. Don’t give up the hard work as you look like you really enjoy it too
"Sexy" Jimmy is an amazing tour guide. Great driving lots of extra information and a very pleasant tour. Top marks- worth the money for Jimmy alone .... NYC is pretty awesome too and this is a brilliant way to see it. Top tip- do 2 day tour/ticket. And use on your 1st day to get to know where things are. Then use day two tickets to visit places along the route
